Margaurite's First Trip to the Moon
Margaurite’s First Trip to the Moon
By Trevor Jackson
Margaurite went in a space shuttle. It was her first trip to the moon. She went up, up, UP in the space shuttle. She loved it. She had a great time watching the astronauts, even Trevor, pushing the launch-off button. She looked at all the buttons they were going to push after the launch-off button. She even looked at the food they were going to give to the people who had no food. There were cookies, bananas, apples, all kinds of fruits, desserts, and some more food. They gave the food to other people on the moon.
Margaurite stayed in the space shuttle. She watched Trevor out on the moon giving the people the food. Moon people have astronaut helmets on and astronaut suits all the way down to their feet and their toes. The suits were white and grey and puffy and the helmets had glass shields so the people could breathe. They had tanks in the back of them attached to the helmets.
The moon had big ditches and it was white. It wasn’t half, it was round when we got there. If it was half, we would’ve falled off. The space shuttle would’ve landed on one of the tips and fell off. Trevor explored the moon while the parents were back all the way on earth. He explored the big huge gigantic ditches that were so much fun. He almost fell into one, but he didn’t.
We all floated around. So did Margaurite. It was hard for her to get close to the window. But she had to grab onto a handle and pull herself back. There were two handles on the sides of the window. We also floated around! We had to grab onto the people’s handles that were on the big puffy suits. They had weight there. They showed us their space houses. The space houses were big and puffy. Everything was big and puffy, except for the moon. We went back home. We watched the earth getting closer and closer and we landed right where the space shuttle was placed to launch off. We loved it. The End.

Trevor, that was a good story. It was really good that I almost cried. And third I want to say, Trevor, I don't know how to write your name. (Mommy: I'll teach you.) Now I'll write both our names.
